Warning There is some amount of adult content in this journal: I am an adult, and I use (and abuse) language like one. (Although I'm trying to be better about that, since I do read LiveJournal at work.) While I do have relatively thought-out concepts and opinions on religion, I am not a part of any mainstream organized religion, and I like it that way. I'll be more than happy to sit and discuss religion with you, but please don't try to convert me to yours, and please don't lecture me on how I'm going to your definition of hell if I don't agree with you. I subscribe to a polyamorous lifestyle, and am currently involved in three romantic relationships: I am married to sidoux, in a semi-local relationship with songspell, and in a long-distance relationship with sweetmusic_27. These ladies know of each other and are each supportive of my relationships with the others. I do not feel that polyamory is in any way wrong, although it is not right for everyone. I am happy to discuss what polyamory means, as long as the conversation is polite and respectful. If any of these things bother you, thanks for visiting, but maybe this would be a good time for you to move on.

What can I say? I'm male, age 36. I work as a computer programmer for an educational software development company on the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a pretty consummate geek. (Except that I do remember to bathe.) I wear glasses, and have long brown hair which falls down below my waist, which I keep ponytailed most of the time.

I spend most of my time in the Society for Creative Anachronism (or "SCA"), a historical research and re-enactment group. In the SCA, I'm a herald, a calligrapher, a bard, and a former member of the I Genesii commedia dell'arte troupe. My name in the SCA is THL (The Honorable Lord) Cadell Blaidd du. Most of the rest of my time is spent gaming; I enjoy all sorts of board games, card games, and role-playing games. (Hey, I told you I was a geek!) I am also a huge fan of anime.
